Selecting a therapist is an important and personalized process. I am committed to my clients experience and "goodness of fit" as a therapist they feel comfortable with.
As a Licensed Master Social Worker, and a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work, my experience has been focused as an individual, couples and family therapist. I received my practicum training at the U of M University Center for the Child and Family, and I currently work with a broad spectrum of clients.
I consider myself an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help my clients effectively address personal life challenges. I am able to integrate complementary methodologies, such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal therapy, and client centered therapy, with techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
I feel it is important to address each individual and situation with compassion and understanding, providing an opportunity to help my clients build on their strengths and achieve the personal growth they are committed to attaining.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
